Make a Poster to Display

Make a big impact by setting up a poster display in your church, library, or some other community! See the sample photograph for ideas, and modify the word document to make it your own.

Step 1: Get permission for the poster display

Ask at your church, library, community center, health center, college, etc.

Start with the most receptive communities, to raise awareness among the people who would vote against Prop 1 if they knew about it!

Then move on to communities that would have mixed reception, such as people that support abortion, but do not realize how extreme Prop 1 is.

Step 2: Print and assemble

Step 3: Set up and stock your display

Look over the resources on this page and determine which ones would be most helpful for your target audience. Tip: pick one small resource to pique people's interest, and pick on large resource that has more detail available.

Step 4: Man your display

For extra impact, use the attached sign-up sheet to make sure you always have two or three people at your display, ready to answer questions and hand out materials.
